Hoping for a better tomorrow, the middle east current situation is heading for a big explosion…unless a miracle happens…Bashar needs to show some dramatic wisdom and do a 180 shift to avoid a lot of bloodshed…opening up and being flexible is his only card, being a hardliner won’t get him anywhere.

Apparently Mr Bashar who is CREDITED for bringing the internet to Syria before becoming president is now blocking any popular internet exchange medium such as FACEBOOK (the new fatality). Mr Bashar is to be applauded for this decision because Syrians deserve to stay in the stone ages since they tolerate anything Bashar decide.

 Let’s stay silenced…apparently all the ass kissing that happened on facebook such as ridiculous groups like “we love Bashar” or “Bashar Foreever” or “Syria can’t be blamed for Lebanon problems” did not fullfil the appetite of Bashar’s hunger for attention.

 Syrians why do you need the internet since you can’t read anything useful there anyway…tell Bashar to take his sutpid internet and offer it to some other people who could make use of it!

More of the same as the previous 7 years, tons of road accidents, destroyed buses and builings collapsing, straving the population, putting people in jail. He has discovered the best way for population control.

 Syria is in the middle of intensif campaign to promote Bashar for the referendum!!! Pictures and Slogans are spreading so intensily everywhere (reminds me of 1985 for the Dad, so much pollution on the walls even in the skies) , he is supposed to win another 7 years (like the people have any choice). From now until the referendum May 27, they will be many social, musical, and ”cultural” events and festivities for our people to express their gratitude for Bashar who is doing an excellent job (what is his job excactly???). New songs and new expressions of Assad will be on display like “Who Isolate Syria isolate himself from the region problems” !!!!

I remember when I was a kid in 78-79 (I was 5-6),  I saw in Black and White Hafez Assad on TV shaking hands in parliement or somewhere, I was stunned and turned to my dad and said how is that possible???isn’t he like a God who can’t meet people, that was my impression of him as a kid!!!! my younger Brother was 5 when we left for Canada and my dad used to ask him to imitate Assad raising his hands in a certain way (like I got you all) to make expat Syrians laugh there.

Anyway Assad was omnipresent and everywhere when I lived there and in particular March 85 was a disgusting month on TV and everywhere (3rd referendum!!! when the ”forever slogan” was invented since “Ila Il Abad” rimes with Assad). Bashar beat his dad, he reached that stage only on the second referundum and only 40 years old and much healthier with no heart problems! Hafez was 55, unhealthy  and we were hoping he dies soon!!!  

This adulation rites of the arab leaders started with Abdel Nassar (God Bless him  ”or in Arabic Alla Yikhrub Beito”), it has taken crazy proportions in Iraq under Saddam and Syria under Assad, Lybia under Khadafi. Egypt is somewhere there as well as other Arab republics!!!! But with Bashar the son it is going back to the old civilizations where Pharaons used to be Gods and Sons of Gods in Egypt, Hamorabi or NaboukhazNasr in Iraq, or Syrian kings and gods. Now 3000-4000 years later in the electronic age and with Syrians believing in one God for centuries we are back where we started with a new God “ASSAD”. For the sake of that God: Kilo, Bunni, Labwani and Dalila are in jail and the people willingly sacrifice them for the God of oppression and control.

Now to the comments, some people are inviting us to watch the Syrian circus these days:

The Syrians dreamt that the Young Doctor who “studied in England” will end all the misery, opression and poverty that the Dad inflicted on the Syrians. But the dream quickly evaporated on the hands the ambitious guy who kept the dicatorship going and nothing changed, it seems that Assad is ruling from his grave, what a surprise!

Another guy writes in English about the Butchers ruling:

Promoting Bashar to God (Sarcastic)

يجب ان يفَرض على كل مواطن سوري ان يضع تمثالا من الحجر او الشمع على كل باب وامام كل منزل لبشار كما يجب ان يتم تدريس اللغة الاسدية بدل من العربية في المدارس والجامعات فهو الذي حرر القدس واحتل اميركا والصين وبلاد الماوماو . مووووووو

Syrian Citizens should be forced to put a Status from Wax or Stone to Bashar in front of their houses. Need to start teaching the Assad language instead of Arabic in schools and universities since he liberated Jerusalem and Occupied the US, China and “maomao” countries, Right?

 Some comments talk in General about the referendum and how illegitimate it is and how it is used to oppresse and humiliate people more, and the ruling crew don’t have any option but to applaud and cheer on stupidities (the smart ones come up with new supid ideas like the air balloons to pollute the ski with Bashar pictures and slogans):

Nadia anwers one of the excited people who  said that Assad landed them to safety land. She is laughing about what safety is he talking about: Iskandaroun was lost (territories taken by Turkey on the mediteranean in 39 and Borders were redrawn recently) and the Golan was sold and the price has been cashed. The military was filtered out from the best and elites and no one is left but the cowards and thugs from the ruling class, they are not able to protect the country let alone themselves. The weapons are to control inside…not to mention Hariri murder, Iraqi affairs interference and formenting Terrorism which put Syria on the international anger scope. Poverty, Hunger, miserable economy, stolen resources…safety land, yes may be for Thiefs, criminals, double faces, profeteers, they would not even have dreamed about such safety. It is so sad that is so funny.

No Solution but humour these days since my compatriots decided to be relieved after all the sentences were handed out in Style…best thing is to wait for the prisoners to be out after 3 or 5 or 12 years…time is not important, the important thing is to keep Syria ruled by our friend Bashar. To add my perosnal contribution to Bashar being re-appointed (like we have any choice), I decided to go to the news coverage of his reelection and  pick up the most ridiculous comment in arabic (sorry too disgusting and silly to translate). I am giving you a choice (unlike the regime) to vote on them so we can pick freesyria.wordpress.com slogan to Support Bashar since he needs us. Seems to me that the comments are a rehash or what we used to repeat to Hafez in the 80s but who cares about being original.
