Free Michel Kilo Now - Enough Already

How many people need to be killed in Lebanon? Gaza? Iraq so you can prove that you are a regional player??? or do you get personal satisfaction by killing and improsining people or force an entire country to worship you…As long as Michel Kilo and his friends remain in Syrian prisons you are suspect number one in all the crimes and chaos happening in Lebanon.

 I can’t get how dumb you are by not even trying to cover your crimes…you even choose to send all these messages of intimidation so bluntly…but it is not your fault it is the fault of the Syrian people and other foreign powers (hint hint Israel and the US) that allow you to remain where you are; so you can cause as much harm as possible. I am still very confused about why targeted assassinations happen everywhere around Syria but not within Syria??? oh sorry it is usually called suicide or a one way ticket to prison, or dissapearance forever, bombs usually explode in empty areas.

Also, how clever of you to have people’s hearts and minds directed toward libaring a land that you are so happy that it is occupied. Tell those people that the Golan is just an excuse for you to have total rule and control…tell them that you need to control Lebanon because it was a cash cow that needs to remain in safe hands to not give freedom loving Syrians any wrong ideas…tell them that you offer nothing to Syria and people are so dumb for marketing you otherwise. 

You are a big engine of instability in the region and the engine of Syrian backwardness. You are needed to ensure that the region remain in the dark ages…don’t forget to thank your masters for all the wealth that you and your family worked so hard to accumulate: it is ultimately sucked from the sweat of the hard working people, the blood of the innocents, the freedom suffocation, the brainwashing of the young minds and souls.

Syria I cry for your misery…Lebanon hopefully you will be soon freed of the criminal spirits. 

I rarely write about the tragedies of Iraq because I don’t know the local players that well and I don’t know the good guys since they are not that many good politicians there that are impressive. One thing is sure is that Iraq got massacred pretty well and there won’t be any solution to fix the mess there in the near future…10 years at least is needed plus an international and regional will to stop it for people and terrorists to stop killing each other. We are in the second or third year of a civil war under occupation. Iraq will surpass Yugoslavia in terms of war duration and will be closer to Lebanon 15 years or Algeria’s independence war.

One piece of news that I just read on Elaph which is very very alarming

فقد قامت جماعات مسلحة في بغداد بتهديد العوائل المسيحية الساكنة في مناطق عديدة من منطقة الدورة جنوب بغداد الدورة ومنها حي المعلمين بترك المسيحية واعتناق الاسلام او القتل. وقد امهلت هذه الجماعات المسيحيين مدة 24 ساعة فقط لتنفيذ مطالبهم هذه او مغادرة المنطقة وما عدا ذلك فانهم سيتعرضون للذبح كما قال تقرير لوكالة انباء عينكاوا المسيحية في تقرير الى “ايلاف”. واشارت الى انه إمعانا في الاذلال فقد منعت هذه الجماعات العوائل المسيحية من الاحتفاظ باي جزء من مقتنياتها في حالة اختيارهم المغادرة كما اصدرت فتاوي بمصادرة جميع ممتلكات هذه العوائل.
 
وقد ادت هذه التهديدات الى ان العوائل المهددة قد هربت فعلا من منازلها خوفا الى احياء اكثر أمنا في بغداد او غادروها الى مناطق اخرى من العراق تاركين حاجياتهم في بيوتهم. معروف ان الاف المسيحيين العراقين قد غادروا بلدهم خلال السنوات الاربع الاخيرة الى بلدان مجاورة وخاصة سوريا او الى دول اوربية نتيجة تهديد الجماعات الدينية المسلحة المتطرفة.

I’ll translate the arabic report : “Some armed groups and militias threatened Iraqi Christians families living in many areas south of Bagdad to become muslim or face death! These groups gave the Christians 24 hours to give in to their demands or leave the area, otherwise there will be butchered. This was a news report from Einkawa Chrisitan News to Elaph.com and to add further humiliation, these groups were denied to take their belongings if they chose to leave. So everything will be confiscated. These threats succeeded  in making the families run away from their houses empty handed to safer areas in Baghdad or other areas in Iraq. It is known that thousands of Iraqi Christians have fleed Iraq the last 4 years specially to Syria and Europe because of religous persecutions and extremism.”

This is extremely dangerous if proven true news. I don’t see it as surprising given how things are out of control there, and extremists are being creative with all kind of crimes and terrorism.  I am not going to lay blames on foreign powers for this but it could be a case of wanting Christians out of Iraq. There are a lot of stories on how Jews were transferred out of Iraq in the 40s and 50s. That is not how you keep a country together by kicking a vital part of its human diversity out. The Middle east won’t be the same without Christians in it and those who use Islam or any other reason to justify exterminating a minority are criminals and thugs pure and simple. My only relief is that I know that the majority of muslims don’t approve what is happening and they are the first to decry it. The ones that perform and support such actions are ignorant bastards who should rott in hell.

Long live the Christians in Iraq and the middle East, and may they continue to be a positive influence whereever they are…I also hope that the tragedies end in Iraq very soon for all Iraqis regardless of their faith or ethnicities…enough blood, Iraq can’t take anymore, the American occupation has failed miserably so no need to kill each other. PEACE.

Well I know we can’t…but let’s at least express our opinion against it!!!!!

Actually it was so shocking and depressing for me seeing huge bombs
drop on a lovely city like Baghdad and claiming this war is so
“CLEAN”!!!!!!!!

The Americans were terrorized from having a September
11 but every bomb or missile that drops on Iraq (or apparently all
the other mistake ones that fall on the neighboring countries) is a
September 11 for the Iraqis, Arabs  and all the peace loving people
(in the entire globe) that made me so proud (seeing all the anti war
and anti racist movement grow the last few months)…

I think Bush and his criminal gangsters are responsible for every house or
building damaged and every single drop of blood spilled in this war:
babies, kids, children, women and old people, civilians and
militaries, Iraqis, Americans, Brits and others!

I just pray and hope that God will teach Bush (and company and
supporters) a freedom lesson for this era and all the fascists that
come in the future to never play with fire again and start unjust and
unnecessary wars.

I am sorry for not keeping in touch with many of you but this war has
taken a toll on me months before it started along with other personal
issues.

The above email was written by me and sent to friends on Monday, March 24, 2003 few days after the US attacked Iraq based on false pretexts and goals. 4 years later and millions of dead, injured, displaced and terrorized, this email still holds true. The only dilemna is that I don’t know how can this war be stopped and this cycle of violence end.

My heart goes out to all innocent Iraqis and even American soldiers and I hope that someday Peace will be found once again. I stopped following all the disgusting news out of Iraq and I became numb to all the massacres happening daily. I don’t trust any of the politicians there and I don’t believe that there is a near solution or that Iraq will recover soon. The US and the neighboring countries don’t want this war to end yet.

The extra sad news is that it showed how arabs and middle eastern can become savages in massacring each other. It demostrated how some powers, regimes and terrorists benefit from trading or smugling killing machines and profit from the innocent blood. Dictators loved that War specially that it became an example of how to praise dictators for stability and security. Iran and Theocraties gained power instead of liberals and intellectuals. The irony is that Woman, minorities and professionalists were living way better under Saddam and the sanctions.

America no thanks for destroying our beloved Iraq and destroying hopes in a better region. Take all the oil and weapon money but let us have normal societies. But hellas, our ugly human face has emerged as a winner and it is going to be very hard to hide it or replace it. PEACE
